Boris Becker has revealed that Novak Djokovic used to get bothered by the lack of appreciation and love he receives compared to rivals Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.

The Serbian booked his place in the final of Wimbledon on Sunday after seeing off Roberto Bautista Agut in the semi and he will take on Federer next, who overcame Nadal in four sets.

Together, they are the three most successful players in the history of the mens game – with Djokovic on 15 Grand Slams compared to Nadals 18 and Federers 20 – but the world No.1 doesnt have anywhere near the popularity.

Djokovic – a four-time Wimbledon champ – seemed a little agitated on Centre Court during his win over Bautista Agut, cupping his ear to the crowd and sssh-ing them as they rallied behind the No.23 seed.

Asked if he was fired up by the lack of love he received, Djokovic told reporters: No, I mean, look, I focused on what I need to do.
